Our aim is to offer you natural, wild or organically grown products every day, with little or no processing, in order to stay as close as possible to what nature has given us. At Comptoirs & Compagnies, we believe that there is no need to alter, damage or make up such rare and exceptionally effective products. Why would we try to improve on what nature has already done perfectly?
Our job is to discover and rigorously select these raw materials in their country of origin, to set up partnerships with the producers and to carry out drastic controls in order to guarantee you optimal quality and flawless safety. Then we assemble these fruits, spices and honeys, before packaging them in the most respectful way possible, clearly highlighting their properties and the guarantees we give you on their exceptional qualities for an incomparable gustatory and sensory pleasure.
Promoting French know-how
Our raw materials are endemic to distant regions, but we are also keen to promote French know-how and local industries. Thus, 98% of the products we offer are packaged or manufactured in France, in Provence, Alsace, Loire Atlantique...
An eco-responsible approach
Sustainable development is at the heart of our concerns, and we carry out various actions to significantly reduce our carbon footprint: recycling, exclusive use of renewable energy to power our warehouse and, above all, carbon offsetting of all our imports.
In order to reduce our ecological footprint, we have set ourselves the goal of reducing unnecessary packaging in favor of more eco-friendly alternatives. Today, 88% of our packaging is recycled, recyclable or biosourced. We've reached our target of increasing the proportion of packaging we use from 49% to 80% by 2022!
