At Comptoirs et Compagnies, we are committed to provid you quality products that are excellent in taste and exceptional efficiency proven by modern science.
This constant search for excellence is expressed through the products we offer, but also by our strong commitments:
We want our customers to have absolute guarantees about the quality of the products they buy. Our motto: "You have the right to ask for guarantees! ".
To do this, we clearly indicate the origins of the packaging of our products and the guarantees we give you on the excellence of their nutritional profiles. We make available on our website all the test reports on our manuka IAA® honey and our organic goji berries. To go even further, we have set up since 2015 a QR Codes system positioned directly on manuka honey pots and packs of organic goji berries. Each of you can check the actual activity of his manuka honey and the non-pesticide content of his goji berries, directly in-store before buying. This is a unique approach to the world that no other supplier of manuka honey or organic goji berries has adopted.
In order to guarantee a constant quality of our products and stable prices despite fluctuating harvests from one year to the next, we have created our own channels of direct supply with producers in Tibet, New Zealand, Turkey etc. ...
We are clearly committed to a fair trade approach by financing our producers before harvesting and at the prices they ask for. The raw materials we are looking for are of such a rare quality that we refuse to negotiate prices downwards. It is on the quality of the product that we are intransigent. Our economies are at other levels, eliminating all the intermediaries between us and the producers, for example.
The creation of these unique sectors is today a force that allows us to offer each year a constant quality at the best prices available on the market: we have for example the cheapest offer in Europe in active manuka honey .
Manuka honey from New Zealand, Tibetan goji berries, pink Himalayan salt ... our raw materials are endemic to distant regions, but we are committed to valorizing French know-how.
Thus, 98% of the products we offer are packaged or made in France, Provence, Alsace, Loire Atlantique etc ...
To be able to offer exceptional products of a unique quality, we rigorously select rare and endemic raw materials from their often distant countries.
The distance between these quality products and us can not be reduced, we decided to set up a process to offset our carbon footprint.
The principle is that all our carbon consumption related to the transport of our raw materials and finished products is calculated and then converted into "carbon credits". The purchase of these carbon credits helps finance a project that avoids a similar amount of CO2 emissions. This project is carried out by an independent body which has the status of an NGO.
This year, we are participating in two projects:
- Microsol, in Honduras. For more information on this project, click here: http://www.co2solidaire.org/fr/projets/perou/cuiseurs-a-bois-economes.html
- Ekodev, in Peru. For more information on this project, click here: https://ekodev.com/a-propos/Qui-sommes-nous
